·         “Impact of tornado (20 March ’05) over Sadullapur & Sundarganj upazila of Gaibandha dist and Mithapukur upazila of Rangpur dist. using R/S and GIS techniques” and reported to news letter SPARRSO.

·        Monitoring, analysis and prepared a report “onset of monsoon 2005” using NOAA-AVHRR data and reported to news letter SPARRSO.

·        Cold waves have been monitored over Bangladesh during (3-9) January 2004 using NOAA-AVHRR data and reported to news letter SPARRSO.

·        Mapping of Tornado affected areas of Haluaghat and Netrokona on14 April 2004”. (A group report have been submitted to SPARRSO for reported to news letter)

Supervision:

Mr. Abdur Rahim, Meteorologist, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) conducting a study on “Southwest Monsoon activity 2004 in the context Bangladesh using NOAA-AVHRR data” for an Mater of Technology Degree (M.Tech) from Andhra University, India under supervision me and Dr. S.R Gairola, Scientist, Space Applications Center (SAC), ISRO, Ahmedabad, India.

Mr. Mirza Abdul Ali, Graduate student of Environmental Science and management, Independent University, Bangladesh (IUB), for prepared a report of “land use map of National park” in 2003.

  1. Worked as one of the project member of “Rice Crop area and yield estimation Using NOAA  AVHRR  data, Ministry of Agriculture Govt. of  Bangladesh, since 2000.
