Tasks and responsibilities:
(i)
Active participation in the activities of ‘natural resources monitoring
group’ of SPARRSO,
(ii)
Involve with various research and development (R&D) works,
(iii)
Planning for necessary ground truth (field verification) data collection,
compilation and analysis for R&D works,
(iv)
Presentation of research results in technical session and discussion for
comments and recommendation,
(v)
Report writing for completed R&D works and formulation of new R&D
works
(vi)
Crop monitoring (acreage & yield estimation and forecasting) using
remote sensing and GIS techniques and provides regular/routine information to
the Ministry of Food and Disaster Management, Government of the Peoples Republic
of Bangladesh.
(vii)
Working as Co-supervisor of the students from different universities of
Bangladesh, who come to SPARRSO for their final year/term/semester research
project/dissertation,
(viii)
Working as an Instructor/Tutor of the students from different polytechnic
institutes of Bangladesh who come to SPARRSO for their industrial attachment
training,

Representing the divisional heads meeting of SPARRSO for planning and
development,
